最佳改装复古车：Superformance Corvette Grand Sport
This latest offering from Superformance, a Southern California company that distributes 1960s-era racecar replicas and continuation models, is a re-creation of a road racer that Corvette patriarch Zora Arkus-Duntov designed in 1962. He planned on a production run of 125 examples, for homologation purposes; his ultimate goal for the car was to win the GT class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. However, General Motors brass canceled the project after only five cars were completed. Superformance, which is licensed by GM, obtained the original blueprints and molds for chassis number 2 and used them to design its Grand Sport. The company sells the car as a rolling chassis with a coupe body, and the buyer then has an engine and transmission installed.
最佳改装超级跑车：Selby Terlingua Mustang
With its jackrabbit logo prominently displayed up front, the new Terlingua Mustang looks like the one that Shelby American built nearly a decade ago to mark the 40th anniversary of the Terlingua Racing Team’s Trans Am championship in 1967. But this latest version, based on a 2015 or 2016 Mustang GT, is equipped with a V-8 instead of the V-6 that powered the 2007 car. And bolstered by a supercharger, the engine produces more than 750 hp. Other upgrades from the base Mustang GT include various carbon-fiber components and an Eibach suspension that Shelby developed specially for this car.

The Brute Double Cab DC350 is an American classic off-roader made invincible. It’s based on the Jeep Wrangler and inspired by the Land Rover Defender 130, the original off-road rhino. American Expedition Vehicles, an aftermarket company headquartered near Detroit that specializes in Jeep Wrangler components and accessories, starts with a Wrangler, stretches it 23 inches, upgrades the chassis and nearly every suspension component, and adds a truck bed behind the four-door, five-passenger cabin. The 17-inch alloy wheels, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, rear bumper with 7 gallons of built-in water storage, and optional raised air-intake snorkel prepare the Double Cab for the most arduous treks. This Brute also performs well on paved roads, as a family sedan.
